United Moving & Storage believes in making a commitment to keeping our environment healthy for our future generation.  

• Recycle approximately 120,000 pounds of used cardboard each year.
• 50,000 square feet of warehouse space utilizes skylights as their primary source of lighting year round. 
• Old papers are shredded and used as a source of packing material
• CFL lighting is used throughout office and warehouse
• Green products are used for office cleaning
• Water cooler station is used to cut down on plastic bottles
• Wooden containers are sent to a recycling site where the product is then used as boiler fuel.
• Documentation is scanned into an image system, which is available to all employees, communication is thru e-mail, and client information can be electronically sent to a customer file.  Thanks to the above technology we have drastically reduced our use of copy paper.
